Surah Qadr (Surah Al Qadr), meaning” Power, Fate” is the 97th surah in the Holy Quran, found in the 30th Para (Amma Yatasa’aloon). It consists of 5 verses and was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Makkah, making it a Makki Surah.

Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
- Innaa anzalnaahu fee lailatil qadr
- Wa maa adraaka ma lailatul qadr
- Lailatul qadri khairum min alfee shahr
- Tanaz zalul malaa-ikatu war roohu feeha bi izni-rab bihim min kulli amr
- Salaamun hiya hattaa mat la’il fajr
Surah Qadr English Translation
- Indeed, ˹it is˺ We ˹Who˺ sent this ˹Quran˺ down on the Night of Glory.
- And what will make you realize what the Night of Glory is?
- The Night of Glory is better than a thousand months.
- That night the angels and the ˹holy˺ spirit1 descend, by the permission of their Lord, for every ˹decreed˺ matter.
- It is all peace until the break of dawn.

बिस्मिल्ला-हिर्रहमा-निर्रहीम
- इन्ना अनज़ल नाहु फ़ी लैयलतिल कद्र
- वमा अदराका मा लैयलतुल कद्र
- लय्लतुल कदरि खैरुम मिन अल्फि शह्र
- तनज्जलुल मलाइकातु वररूहु फ़ीहा बिइज़्नि रब्बिहिम मिन कुल्लि अम्र
- सलामुन हिय हत्ता मत लइल फज्र
Surah Qadr Hindi Translation
- हमने (इस कुरान) को शबे क़द्र में नाज़िल किया
- और तुमको क्या मालूम शबे क़द्र क्या है
- शबे क़द्र (मरतबा और अमल में) हज़ार महीनो से बेहतर है
- इस (रात) में फ़रिश्ते और जिबरील (साल भर की) हर बात का हुक्म लेकर अपने परवरदिगार के हुक्म से नाज़िल होते हैं
- ये रात सुबह के तुलूअ होने तक (अज़सरतापा) सलामती है
Surah Qadr Urdu Translation
- بے شک ہم نے اس (قرآن) کو شب قدر میں اتارا ہے
- اور آپ کو کیا معلوم کہ شب قدر کیا ہے
- شب قدر ہزار مہینوں سے بہتر ہے
- اس میں فرشتے اور روح نازل ہوتے ہیں اپنے رب کے حکم سے ہر کام پر
- وہ صبح روشن ہونے تک سلامتی کی رات ہے
