Surah Fatiha (Surah Al Fatiha), meaning” The Opener/The Key” is the 1st surah in the Holy Quran, found in the 1st Para (Alif Lam Meem). It consists of 7 verses and was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in both Makkah and Madinah during different periods, making it a both Makki and Madani Surah.
